Developing Leaders in SCI Rehabilitation

ASCoN’s Training of Trainers (ToT) programme develops future leaders in SCI rehabilitation. It equips multidisciplinary professionals with teaching and leadership skills essential for improving SCI services within their countries.

Past Courses

– 1st ToT (2018, Yangon, Myanmar): 20 trainees from 8 countries.
– 2nd ToT (2019, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia): 15 trainees from 7 countries.

Partners and Collaborators

Delivered in collaboration with ISCoS, SPIRIT, Livability, and Handicap International, the ToT courses have strengthened expertise across the region.

Achievements and Future Plans

Graduates of ASCoN ToT programmes have gone on to lead national workshops and contribute to international research initiatives such as the InSCI Study. Future plans include expanding the programme to include multidisciplinary professionals and reactivating the course as a two-week certification model in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
